Irynne Mackay

 

Irynne MacKay is the Government and Public Sector Practice Lead at The ROIG Group.  Irynne brings over 25 years of experience blending consulting experience with a practical operator’s approach.  Irynne’s consulting background spans business strategy and capability development within large change programs in the private sector for brands such as Best Buy, Sears Canada, and Nordstrom as well as the public sector in areas such as Information and Public Records, Health and Wellness, and Resident & Social Services.  Her areas of expertise include business strategy and planning, process improvement, and large-scale change management.

A Sample of Irynne’s Accomplishments at ROIG:

  • Irynne led the work on modernization of a Minnesota county’s Property Records and Revenue (PR&R), developing the strategy that positioned them to transition from its former process and systems to the next generation.  The approach used has become a template for how the company approaches modernization including identifying strategic initiatives, organizing programs, performing systems analysis and solutions architecture

  • As Client Delivery Partner, Irynne directed the team through a multi-phased transformation and modernization program within the Human Resources function, including an re-organization including the installment of the HR Business Partner model, enhancement and modernization of key talent system solutions (performance management processes and tools, and selection (recruitment and succession planning) solutions.

Professional Highlights

Prior to consulting, Irynne was the Senior Vice President and General Merchandising Manager (GMM) for Circuit City.  Prior to Circuit City, she served as Customer Segment Lead for Best Buy where she was responsible for identifying potential customer segments, understanding their needs and developing cross-functional value propositions to meet those needs, and in-field testing of technology, processes, and customer-facing “SAYs and DOs” and prior to full-scale capability rollout.  She also served as General Manager for Arise Virtual Solutions, the pioneer in homeworking call center services, where she was responsible for scaling operations for clients across Technology, Energy, Retail, and Travel & Hospitality industries.  Irynne has also been a transformation-centric consultant for Infinitive Consulting as well as Accenture | Anderson Consulting.

Academic Background

Irynne earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois.  She successfully completed the IMD Corporate Leadership Development Program.
